Facilitator:

Mitch Ralston (they/them)

I am a VCA trained musical theatre actor based in naarm. I have decades of experience performing on stages across the globe.

Credit highlights include Jersey Boys, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and Legally Blonde the Musical.

I am passionate about strengthening local community and spreading the health benefits of group singing. After years of working in commercial theatre, I want to use what I've learned to help others connect with their own voices and embolden their creative spirits.

Humans have been singing for over 500,000 years, before language was even invented.
It is as innate as breathing. As our hearts beating.
Whether you're a two year old screaming along to Let it Go in the car on the way to school,
A ninety-four year old couple croaking out your last duet at the nursing home's karaoke night,
My tone deaf father speak-singing Walk the Line as he cooks his breakfast,
or Beyoncé belting her tits off at Coachella,
Even if everyone tells you not to,
Keep singing.
